Is that running water by the sea? Pretty convenient for that part of the world, right?

I saw that too, Kevin. I can’t believe Liz would leave the water running. Must not have a valve.

Doing laundry by hand will probably be my five year old’s favorite part of living on a boat. At least it was Pearl’s favorite part of being in Mexico for a month. She would even choose to do laundry over swimming. And she loves swimming. I’ll have to show her this picture to get her excited about foot laundry!

In fact, water usage is rather liberal here. It falls enough from the sky year round that people leave water running all over the place! In fact, the locals told me to let the water run for half an hour before filling up my drinking water bottles to assure clean potable water…So I was using the half-hour of flowing water to do laundry! Even then, it felt odd to leave it running for half an hour, I kept having an impulse to turn it off and then kept telling myself, “Oh yeah, let ‘er flow…” …and Heather, if Pearl wants a crewing position when she’s a little older, it sounds that she’s got the right attitude! :)
